Kaman SH-2G Super Seasprite

The SH-2G Super Seasprite is a ship-based helicopter with anti-submarine, anti-surface threat capability, including over-the-horizon targeting. The SH-2 was developed by Charles Kaman who started his carrier working for Igor Sikorsky. The SH-2G was originally developed for the United States Navy in 1980s where it proudly remained in service until 2001.

BOAR is one of the few service providers with extensive experience in supporting the SH-2G Super Seasprite.

Our SH-2G Program Director worked at Kaman Corporation for over 30 years. He was in charge of the management of the SH2G line as Program Manager.

Maintenance Director has over 40 years of professional experience and also worked for Kaman for over 30 years, having managed maintenance and logistics support, commissioned in Egypt and other operators.

Multiple members of BOAR have assisted the Egyptian Navy in standing up a Depot Level Repair Facility where we instructed local nationals on aircraft systems and provided hands on instruction for major repairs and inspections.

We have commercial relations with the manufacturers of the screens and integration of the Glass Cockpit, as well as with the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Workshops of the engines, major components and systems. We can provide ground tools and equipment, with an optimized proposal based on our experience in fleet maintenance.

The small community of SH-2G operators around the world knows that BOAR will get their jobs done expertly and promptly.
